- Complex Reasoning & Code (15g CO2e): Applies to heavy analytical tasks and « Thinking » models (like the OpenAI o1 series), which generate thousands of invisible reasoning tokens before delivering an answer.
- AI Image Generation (25g CO2e): Applies to media creation via diffusion models (like DALL-E 3), requiring significantly more sustained GPU power than text processing.
Crucially, our calculations go beyond direct electrical usage. We account for the full hardware amortization—including server manufacturing and network infrastructure—giving you a comprehensive picture of your true digital impact.
